ORIGINAL: bad_pork Keystone light = Coors light. [Coors brewing] The only difference is the advertising dollars and packaging spent on each brand. The difference in price from state to state is really suprising. WHere I live (MD), a 30 pack of Bud/coors/miller light sells for $18.99. Keystone, nat and the beast sell for 12.99 a 30 pack (cans). When I lived in Georgia 7 years ago, Budwiser/coors sold for $18.49 a 24-pack. I never saw 30 packs till i moved back north. Actually you are only partly right here....Keystone Light is not only made by Coors but actually IS Coors Light. Kind of like factory second beer, they are just defective cans. Keystone Light is my brand and I can tell you from VAST experience.....I have never....and I mean never....found a can without a dent in it.

Then again, I grew up in downtown "Bodymore"(Baltimore, Maryland for non aliterative) during the '80's "crack epidemic."

Unibroue is a great brewery and Trois Pistoles is one of my favorites. You compared it to Chimay, did you know that Unibroue's head brewer, Paul Arnott, was the master brewer at Chimay? Cool, eh? If you like Chimay Grande Reserve then I recommend trying Unibroue's La Terrible. It's similar to the Grande Reserve, but much bigger. Fruity, yeasty, malty, spicy, mmmm. Right now I'm enjoying a beer from Kiuchi Brewery in Japan called Hitachino Japanese Classic Ale. It's an IPA that's aged in cedar casks. Very tasty and unique. The cedar aroma and flavor integrates perfectly with this brew giving it a nice clean finish, bitter and dry. Yummy.
