no, cuz B&O never sold out and made a receiver to be sold at Best Buy - the reason I was able to buy one with gift cards [8D]

QuagmireXT -> RE: Flyin the friendly skies (3/26/2008 1:10:17 PM)

People are just butthurt that they dont sell their rifles to the civilian market for how much they're actually worth.

frankly i love their pistols, the MP5, and the G3 and it's smaller caliber derivatives.

I cant say anything about the G36 because the only thing HK puts out is that damn SL8 travesty that only accepts 10 round magazines for about 3000 dollars, wtf is that about, and it's STILL illegal in Kommifornia. I've never even seen a G36.

i likes the Colt too.. it's just that one can only carry hardball in it, out of the box

even the slightest JHP and the FTF rates get scary...

thus..the huge wad o cash it takes to tune it [>:]

1)  rounded solid tip bullets
2) Jacketed Hollowpoint bullet (designed to open up inside the chest cavity of your target creating a much larger wound.
3) Fail to fire (a very bad thing when you're kind of hoping it will fire).

Zissky -> RE: Flyin the friendly skies (3/26/2008 4:54:47 PM)

FTF

Failure to Feed

a jam.. the stock 1911 has a really narrow feed ramp.. (as did the Browning P35, oddly)

it works reasonably well when using hardball...as it was designed to use.. but when you start using hollowpoint ammo... they can get caught up as they try to feed from the magazine and you get a stoppage.

tho a proper throat and polish wit the works- from a skilled gunsmith can reach into  three digits
