Guns N Roses was my first gig ever! I heard on the radio that they are doing one of the UK festivals this summer, but if GnR were reforming for gigs it would be big news everywhere? Know anything about that?

I havn't heard much except that they occasionally have one. I doubt that it would be big news because for some reason MTV feels that songs like "Move bitch, get out the way" and "Its getting hot in here" are more important than any rock band songs.

MTV still plays music? When? 3am? And at the rate M2 is dropping music, they're going to need an M3 before long to pick up the slack.

I doubt you'll see the "real" G'n'R this summer. Slash and Duff will be touring with Velvet Revolver. I wouldn't put it past Axl to grab some jobbers, throw them together and call it G'n'R, but the real lineup ain't gonna be coming together.

Or they'll do like Audioslave when they played some RATM and jam out some old GNR. Except it will probably suck...

Wunder: The last.fm site just tracks what you play in your media player. Lets you have an idea of what you are really listening to, if you listen to a lot of music on your computer i guess. Whenever you play a track, it gets recorded there, and then it makes all those fun little stats. And the other neat thing they did lately was add the radio option, which is a little player that lets you listen (stream) to similar music to what you listen to. pretty neat. Doesn't track any sort of downloading or anything. And ya, i only got that one lush album. I was in a shoegazy mood for awhile and picked it up. I actually got a few garbage albums...but didn't really care for them. And i don't know if NRG will care if we discuss where we acquire music from? Wouldn't mind finding some new sources

Listened to nothing but Kasabian all weekend. It's Wunder's fault! Wunder, what were you saying about the files being mislabeld? I was afk when you sent that message.

I dunno why, but some of the tracks have the wrong title. For example the track named 'L.S.F' is a short instrumental linky thing, its the next track that is actually 'L.S.F'. The last 2 tracks have no label. I think there is a couple of like 30 second linky bits that got labeled with track names, so the subsequent tracks are labeled wrong. Is all.

What's odd is that in looking for the right track names, I've found a list that has 10 tracks and one that has 13...and I've got 12 tracks.

Posted this earlier, you can stream there tunes from here: http://www.kasabian.co.uk/releases/ Kasabian grew up listening to the same tunes as I did, so they are right up my alley, unlike the whinging tossers like Coldgay, David Gay, David Clunt...etc. If you like them there is a whole back catalogue of UK indie music to retrospectively trawl through. Oasis rejuvinated the scene in '96, but they all stemmed from the Stone Roses.
