So this happened one night when she got back from her program:
Me: "So how was the speech."
Her: "It was a panel actually, and it was alright. It was about hip hop lyrics and social consciousness, stuff like that."
Me: "What, so it was a bunch of white academics who've never heard hip hop in their lives?"
Her: "Four of them were, but the fifth was an actual rapper. I'd never heard of him, but a few of the kids there seemed really interested. He told me to put him on the program as Chuck D"
Me: "Chuck D was on your panel?"
Her: "Yeah."
So that pissed me off a lot.

any of you dudes/dudettes like the rasta reggae/ska/punk/funk meld...then this album is an absolute must have! DO EET! A smoke a spliff before and its even more the awesome!
ummm this one is phar out too, but not as good as the one above wow

Fuck yeah on Will Ackerman. Grew up listening to, and emulating with friends and our accoustics "Childhood and Memory - Seattle" and such. He is a badass....look up the wiki sometime. Whilst working as a carpenter, friends convinced him to record his guitar playing.....the founding of Windham Hill Records and the signing of Michael Hedges and George Winston followed.
